The Trout Lake is for fly fishing only. The trout average 3 - 5lbs with 50 fish between 10 and 22lbs. There is a large quantity of insect life and a substancial hatch of flies. The trout will all put up a battle due to supply of highly oxygenated water constantly supplied by the Camac River. Trout will be caught on most af the traditional flies, such as Buzzers, Green Peters and Sedges. Fly lures are also working well, with Dawson Olive, Black / White Zonker and Cats Whisker all producing results.
